When the sun is shining and the river is quiet, making progress is easy. But on a busy day it is not so simple.

Using the pole to navigate the narrow channel and low bridges, whilst avoiding the punts coming towards you out of control is difficult, and the passengers shouting helpful advice can be distracting.

All too easily the end result could be a collision with the bank or worse still you falling into the river leaving the punt rudderless and marooned.

Effective training and practice reduces the risk of such a calamity. We can provide a punting experience as part of a team building exercise if you would like to test the analogy!
